Longer timeouts for sign-in log queries

Sign-in log queries now allow more time for filtered searches to complete. This helps reduce timeouts that could occur during periods of higher service activity.

Faster retrieval of recent sign-in activity

Requests for recent sign-in activity now begin with a smaller search window and expand only when no results are found. This improves performance and helps reduce query timeouts when retrieving the most recent sign-ins.

Automatic organization selection from email domains

When a user is identified by email address, the assistant can now infer the organization from the email domain instead of prompting you to select an organization manually.

Fixes

More reliable sign-in log searches for email addresses

Sign-in log searches now automatically normalize email address casing. Previously, searches could return no results when the email address casing did not match the format stored in Microsoft's activity logs, potentially leading to the incorrect conclusion that a user had no sign-in activity.

More accurate reporting when no sign-in results are returned

The assistant now performs additional validation before reporting that no sign-in logs are available. Previously, an empty search result could be reported as though no logs existed without further verification.
